Shed Requirements and Construction Guidelines
1. Minimum Space Requirement: A shed area of 1,000 square feet is mandatory.
2. Shed Dimensions: Length should be 40 feet, width 25 feet, and height 16 feet at the center, tapering to 14 feet on both sides.
3. Plastic Storage Area: Allocate 10 feet near the entrance for plastic storage. Secure this area with metal sheets on the lower section and mesh on the upper section for ventilation.
4. Machine Placement: Place the machine at the center rear of the shed and fix it permanently.
5. Product Storage Area: Reserve 200 square feet for storing finished products like bricks and paver blocks.
Electrical, Safety, and Security Provisions
1. Electric Connection: Install a three-phase power supply with an MCB of 64 amps or higher for smooth operations.
2. Earthing Setup: Use the provided materials for proper earthing to ensure electrical safety.
3. Ventilation: Install windows for air circulation and ventilation.
4. Fire Safety: Equip the shed with A, B, and C-type fire extinguishers for emergencies.
5. Personal Protective Equipment : Provide gloves and masks for operators.
6. Security Measures: Implement locks, surveillance systems, and restricted access to safeguard machinery and products.
7. Visitor Management: Maintain a visitor register and prohibit unauthorized access without the plant manager’s consent.
Operational and Maintenance Guidelines
1. Tool and Mold Storage: Allocate space for storing tools, molds, and instruments.
2. Daily Cleaning: Clean the machine externally and internally to remove dust and residues before starting operations.
3. Weekly Maintenance: Conduct deep cleaning of mesh containers and assemblies every week.
4. Logbook Maintenance: Keep records of daily machine usage, including working hours and production details.
5. Inspection Schedule: Regularly check electrical connections, exhaust systems, and safety devices to ensure proper functionality.
6. Warranty and AMC Support: Contact the authorized service provider for any issues. Avoid unauthorized modifications to retain warranty coverage.
7. Operator Amenities: Provide space for PPE, drinking water, and maintenance tools.
